Winning the MENTAL GAME of long-term healthy eating!
This is the beginning…
I’d like to introduce you to a different kind of nutrition program. This is the mental component that’s missing in our nutrition programs.
FAQs:
What is this part of the nutrition program?
This is part of the 6 Week Nutrition Program. It’s your jump-start to having a better relationship with food.
What do you mean by “relationship with food?”
Food is an essential component of our everyday life and the key to a vibrant life and yet, our relationship with food has grown to be unhealthier and more chaotic. We’re blasted with ads about food on TV and social media. New restaurants are popping up all over the place. Recipes are being new delivered to our inboxes regularly. We’re assaulted with diet and nutrition advice everywhere we go! It’s no wonder that our relationship with food is disordered.
What does this part of the program entail?
During each week of the nutrition program, we will jump over a hurdle to help you move past the BS of disordered eating. Through the GroupMe App, we will post a journal exercise to study, reflect, and answer. You can use whatever note-taking system you like. Some of the journal exercises may be uncomfortable. But to get past some of the issues that you’ve been struggling with, you’ll need to dig deep to work towards having a better relationship with food and yourself. This is just a jump-start! Stay tuned! A full program is coming!

Still don’t think this is you? Here’s a sneak peek of our upcoming program!
You tell me that this isn’t you. “I don’t have anorexia or bulimia.” You might not. These are classic eating disorders. These diseases pose very different and serious challenges for people. But what I’m talking about is other very serious food and body anxieties, worries, concerns that no one really talks about, the silent and global epidemic that strikes home with almost everyone of us. The majority of us struggle with these things and yet no one cares to discuss them.
The things I’m talking about are overeating, binge eating, and emotional eating. Still think these things don’t apply to you? Consider these questions.
Do you struggle with body image?
Do you have weight concerns?
Do you eat differently in public than you do at home or in private?
Do you measure your exercise in calories?
Do you eat your feelings - often?
Do you often feel really full at the end of each meal?
Do you often feel like you eat too much but you don’t even realize it until you’ve stepped away from the table?
Do you constantly obsess about food or have an excessive preoccupation with food?
Do you sometimes eat the “whole bag” but you don’t even realize it until you reach in the bag and notice that it’s empty?
Do you turn to food every time you feel uncomfortable or sad?
Do you sometimes avoid social events because you might have to eat in front of someone?
Are you dissatisfied with your body shape or weight?
Do you have a compulsion to engage in extreme eating habits like fasting or binge-eating?
Do you generally stay away from ‘junk food’ unless your angry, stressed, or sad?
Do you exhibit exceptional health?
Do you hate your body or parts of your body?
Have you lost weight and gained it back countless times?
Are you tired of suffering from another endless night of eating?
Are you a always on a diet?
Does the scale rule your life? Do you weigh yourself every day?
Do you think about food in terms of ‘good’ or ‘bad’?
Do you feel that your experience with food and body is holding you back from the life you’re meant to lead?
Do you push your body HARD with exercise, yet never get the results you want?
Do you feel comfortable in your own skin?
Do you have any ongoing or recurring health issues?
